Below is a brief description of what you can expect from the custom design process at Mariloff.

Design Discussion

Everyone has their own style and individual tastes and if you are hoping to custom design a piece of jewelry, it is most likely because you have something specific in mind or at least an idea. You will work with a Mariloff professional to describe what you are looking for. You can bring in pictures, or sketches or anything you would like in order to best provide the details.

The Sketch

Once we are comfortable that we know what you are hoping for, we will work with our designers to provide a sketch. You can expect to review the sketch within 3-4 days from the day of the initial discussion. Once you review the sketch, you will be able to make changes to any detail that isn’t captured perfectly. Upon review of a final sketch, you will approve it and we will proceed to the creation phase.

Creation

The designs will be passed over to our skilled craftsmen to bring your creation to life. This can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on the complexity of the design and number of other custom orders in process. Once the jewelry is ready for you to see, we will contact you to make an appointment in our showroom to view your design. We anticipate that you will be delighted with the final result.

Much of the custom work we handle is for wedding and engagement rings. However, we invite you to bring any idea to us. We will design anything for you from class rings to bracelets to earrings and pendants.
